Not sure what to expect? Here is what Lesley said after her first session:
’With life recently being so intense, I was having issues sleeping which in turn was impacting on my days. I can never switch my mind off and didn’t think that meditation would work for me.
The session showed me that I was wrong about that. I am using the tools Gemma taught me at night and find I can get back to sleep much quicker. I still need to work on this going forward and look forward to learning and practicing more’’
Not sure what to expect? Here is what Sam said:
“Before attending; I was stressed most of the time, having a lot of headaches and not sleeping very well (or very much). I felt generally overwhelmed, and I was finding it increasingly hard to concentrate / focus. I was often irritable and short tempered, and I had fallen into bad habits like eating unhealthily.
I’d thought about meditation before, but I had never really tried it as I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to do it, because of finding it hard to concentrate or relax. Also, it seemed like an impossibility that I would find time to fit it into my already jam-packed schedule.
Since, I’m a lot less stressed; I’m sleeping much better, so I have more energy and I don’t feel tired all the time; and I no longer have daily headaches. I have found healthier and more effective ways of coping with stressful or difficult situations.
I’m I still have days when I feel stressed or overwhelmed at times, but the tools I have learned with Gemma help me to deal with those times / feelings in a non-destructive way.
I truly feel happier, lighter, calmer and more empowered to continue making positive steps to improve my overall health and wellbeing.”

I thoroughly enjoyed the learn how to reduce stress workshop that I attended on Saturday.
I hadn’t been looking to attend a course, it popped up on my Facebook page and came at a time that I was in a position to attend… I booked it without a further thought and surprisingly did not feel at all anxious
Leading up to attending. It was meant to be ….. I will attend a further workshop, I will certainly recommend your workshop to my friends…
I slept well on Saturday night, I woke up at my usual time of 2am but was able to get back to sleep quite quickly.
I used the breathing method of “ I am breathing in, I am breathing out”………
I did the same this morning, waking at 2am and again at 5am which is normal for me. Mondays are usually a very stress/anxious day for me… I’m not entirely sure why.. maybe the thought of the start of another working week- although as you know every day is a work day when you have your own business. I just need allow myself to take time out for myself – which is why I attended the workshop on Saturday.
As with everyone, I have many factors that cause my anxiety, I am trying to deal with them individually and keep myself well.
