Our plan for the morning (10am to 12.30pm):

 

  • Gentle flowing movement – to release muscle tension but you don’t need to be bendy or into yoga – please bring a yoga mat if you have one
  • Relaxing meditations and using your voice to feel calmer and more confident
  • Tea and cake (will be provided)
  • Candlelit relaxing soundbath – Experience being in this calming space listening to the sounds and feeling the vibrations of our singing bowls. Soundbaths are a great way to switch off, calm the mind and feel relaxed, people often say to me they sleep well afterwards as well.

  • Please note there is limited parking so if you are coming with a friend if you car share that would help. In the evening it is also possible to park on the road. We are sorry but we don’t accept any responsibility for cars or possessions.

 

  • Please do not contact the venue regarding booking as they will not be able to assist you, please contact us directly.

 

  • This session is often done lying on the floor but it is possible to be on a chair. If you struggle on the floor please get in touch as we have had people bring there summer garden loungers to make them comfortable. The venue has underfloor heating so should be warm and cosy but we do recommend you bring blankets and warm clothing as people often get cold when relaxing and lying still. If you require cushions, blankets etc please bring these with you.

I have been to a couple of Sound Therapy sessions with Gemma, something about which I knew almost nothing. Gemma was well prepared and communicated really well about what the session entailed.

Having settled myself comfortably in the dimly lit room, I lay, with eyes closed and listened to the different sounds and felt the vibrations from the singing bowls. It was a really interesting and relaxing experienced.

I had time out from my scattered thoughts and felt quite chilled after each session, with an awareness of a sense of calm that was really pleasant. I am looking forward to my next session.
