So many people feel physically drained but mentally “stuck on,” especially when stress, overwhelm, anxiety, busy lifestyles, or emotional pressure have built up over time.

That’s why we’ve created this gentle and supportive Sleep Better Workshop.

This calming workshop combines mindfulness meditation, relaxation techniques, guided practices, and aromatherapy to help settle both mind and body — creating better conditions for rest, relaxation, and sleep.

A Gentle 2 Hours Just for You

This workshop is perfect for anyone who is feeling:

  • struggles to switch their mind off at night,
  • experiences overthinking, worry, or racing thoughts,
  • feels stressed, anxious, or mentally overwhelmed,
  • wakes feeling tired and unrested,
  • finds it difficult to properly relax,
  • wants practical tools to help calm the mind and body,
  • wants to feel calmer, more settled, and more rested.

 

This workshop is the perfect way to:

  • switch off (especially if you find relaxing difficult),
  • relax and take time out for you,
  • feel calmer and more relaxed,
  • feel less stressed, anxious or worried,
  • Gain tools to help you navigate a better nights sleep so you wake refreshed,
  • Create a tool box using aromatherapy to support you when you need it at home,

 

Give Yourself Permission to Pause

Sometimes sleep difficulties aren’t just about sleep.

Sometimes the body has simply forgotten how to fully relax.

This workshop is an opportunity to step away from the busyness of life for a few hours and give your nervous system the chance to slow down, reset, and rest.

 

Create Your Own Sleep Pillow Spray

As part of the workshop, you’ll create your own calming aromatherapy sleep pillow spray blend to take home. Guided by Shelley you will learn about the different uses of essential oils and how they can help you.

Using essential oils that you are naturally drawn to and feel may help support you best — whether that’s helping you feel calmer, more relaxed, grounded, comforted, or able to switch off more easily before sleep.

 

Your spray can then become part of your evening routine at home, helping create a gentle moment of pause and relaxation before bed.

A simple but powerful way to continue the relaxation beyond the workshop itself.

 Create Your Own Calming Aromatherapy Blend

You’ll make a personalised aromatherapy pillow spray blend to take home. Designed to support a better night’s sleep as well as helping you feel calmer and more relaxed.

Tea and biscuits will be provided

 Relaxing Guided Mindfulness Meditation

Try some simple but effective calming meditations to help you:

•Slow down
•Feel grounded
•Release mental stresses and worries
•Use as a way to go back to sleep easier

No experience needed.
You don’t need to “clear your mind.”
You simply need to show up.

Feel like you can use the combination of aromatherapy and meditation straightaway and have the tools to use when you next feel stressed, anxious or worried or struggle to sleep.

You do not need any previous experience with meditation or mindfulness.

Everything is guided in a simple, supportive, and down-to-earth way.

This is not about “emptying the mind” or getting meditation perfect.

It’s about helping your body and mind feel calmer, quieter, and more settled — even if switching off normally feels difficult.

This morning has been created as a gentle pause.

This workshop is blanded as part of a toolkit of 4 sessions ( but can be done as a seperte session) throughout the year to create arm you with a toolkit of tools and aromatherapy to support you when you need it focusing on:

This morning is guided by two experienced practitioners who bring calm, depth, and practical skill to the space — helping you leave feeling supported, grounded and understood.

 Gemma Gutteridge

Meditation & Stress Support

Gemma is the founder of Salisbury Meditation & Sound Therapy and brings a calm, grounded, and deeply supportive presence to every session.

She specialises in helping people feel calmer and more relaxed, gently and without judgement — and offers tools you can actually use in your everyday life.

During the workshop Gemma will guide you through:

  • Nervous system calming techniques
    • Practical, realistic stress tools
    • A deeply soothing guided meditation

Her style is welcoming and reassuring — perfect for anyone who has ever felt overwhelmed, stuck in their thoughts, or “tired but wired.”

 

 

 Shelley Baker

Clinical Aromatherapist & Wellbeing Guide

Shelley is a highly experienced clinical aromatherapist with over 25 years of helping busy people re-balance their lives, feel more relaxed and rediscover calm through the power of essential oils.

With a background in science, Shelley blends modern research with deep plant wisdom to make aromatherapy accessible, effective and personally meaningful. She believes that creating moments of calm is not indulgent — it’s essential to living well.

In this workshop, Shelley will guide you to:

  • Understand how scent influences mood and nervous system
    • Create a personalised aromatherapy blend to support calm and relaxation
    • Use essential oils effectively as part of your daily wellbeing routine

Her gentle, clear approach makes aromatherapy feel simple, grounded and deeply nurturing — ideal for anyone who feels stressed, tired or in need of steady support.
